Random Thoughts: Duplicity (the movie)
I’ve been critical of what I like to call the “Julia Roberts and Richard Gere desperately trying to duplicate the success of Pretty Woman” genre of film (cf. Runaway Bride). For many years, I’ve considered Clive Owen to be quite the bad ass. Think about it: Sin City, Children of Men, Shoot ‘em Up. But now that Richard Gere has seemingly finally passed beyond “distinguished” into “just plain old” he’s been replaced, but Clive say it ain’t so:
You’ll never be James Bond at this rate, my friend.
